LUXURY mountain view resort condo with large private balcony

The room was in impeccable condition, nice and large for our family to have space! We had all we needed in the kitchen as well! Obviously, the grounds just a small walk from the ocean was ideal. Would stay here again!

This is a luxurious resort with a full condo unit that includes kitchen, all utensils, washer & dryer, beach chairs, umbrella and boogie board for use. The unit worked well for two of us (my 13 year old son & I). There is a pull out couch, but we can't comment on the comfort. Please note the unit has LVP flooring, different than the carpeting shown in the photos. While LVP might be easier to clean. You feel the sand and grit. There was a broom and I had to sweep a number of times. The resort was perfect for us, located within walking to the food truck park and could access the boardwalk along the ocean for walking. The beach is beautiful and perfect for sunsets. The pool and numerous hot tubs were enjoyed all day and into the evening. Dukes is on property, as well as Whalers general store. We found access to be initially tricky, but got use to it after check in. After check out, we continued to use pool and kept our car parked until we headed to airport. Out of all the other places in Kaanapali, I am super happy with our selection and would definitely return.

Great property with multiple pool options, easy beach access and general store on the ground floor which makes it super convenient. The space has both AC and ceiling fans which is so great during the summer time. Really great value!

The resort was beautiful and check in was incredibly easy! They had a hardcover book with everything you needed to know about the resort, eating, shopping, etc. Very helpful and well put together! Marci was so helpful answer questions before and during our trip. We felt perfectly safe at all times. I would highly recommend this property!

Honua Kai is a beautiful resort with direct beach access. If you are looking for a place to relax this is it. We had a few minor inconveniences with our condo, but management was very responsive and addressed everything in a timely manner. The onsite restaurant, Duke’s, has great food and live music and the best Hula pie. Highly recommend this resort!
